Dear fellow citizens,
on Saturday, September 27, 2025 There will be a commemorative ride of historic vehicles up the Brno–Soběšice hill (the first such races took place in 1924). The starts of cars and motorcycles will take place from 9 a.m. from the Kociánka Center area.
To ensure the regularity of the ride and the safety of participants and spectators, the Brno City Hall's Transport Department has authorized the closure of Kociánka Street to all motorized and non-motorized vehicle traffic for the duration of the ride. We would like to inform you that part of the closed road runs through your neighborhood, and therefore access to your place of residence will be restricted during the stated time. Throughout the event, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Kociánka Street will not be open to normal traffic. Traffic will only be allowed during breaks between trips from 10:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 1:15 p.m., in the direction of Soběšice. Further information can be obtained from the marshals, who will be supervising the race at the roadside. If there are no complications, we expect the track to open after 3 p.m.
