Proposition Hill Climb and Exhibition of Historic Vehicles Brno–Soběšice 2025

Organizer and company name

§ 1: Veteran Auto Moto Club in the Czech Army in cooperation with Technical Museum in Brno a Kocianka Center, with the support of Statutory City of Brno, Jand the Moravian Region, in cooperation with city districts Brno-North a Brno – Královo Pole held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 Hill climb and exhibition of historic vehicles Brno–Soběšice.

Type of event

§ 2: It is an open sports and social club event, accessible to all persons holding a valid driving license and having at their disposal a car or motorcycle manufactured before 1939 (also machines of designs continued in subsequent years, four-stroke motorcycles manufactured before 1965), which meets the inclusion in the FIVA technical classification A and B, specifications 1 to 3. It is organized on a closed course. It is run as a demonstration hill climb without measuring time and speed. An inserted regularity run for participants in the Grand Prix of Historic Vehicles.
Vehicles must comply in every respect with the regulations applicable to the admission of vehicles to public roads. Motorcycle riders must wear a safety helmet, gloves and goggles. Participants are required to follow the rules of the road while riding.

Track

§ 3: The route is a part of the district road on Kociánka Street, Brno (Královo Pole)–Soběšice. It starts in Centrum Kociánka and ends just before Soběšice at km 3.2. The route is 3200 m long, the height difference is 159.8 m, the average climb is 4.59 %, the maximum is 10 %. The road has an uneven asphalt surface, with potholes and unevenness. Thanks to the care of the cooperating municipal authorities, we must state that the condition is continuously improving.

Vehicle expedition

§ 4: All vehicles, except racing machines, must comply in every respect with the regulations in force for the admission of vehicles to public roads. Motorcycle riders must wear a safety helmet, gloves and goggles. All vehicles must have proof of payment of the statutory insurance for damage caused by the operation of the vehicle. The technical commission may exclude a participant whose vehicle has defects that may affect its driving characteristics, or whose appearance and originality are not maintained. Conversions and tunings will not be allowed to drive. Copies after agreement with the organizer.

Vehicle markings

§ 5: The machines must have a starting number placed so that it is clearly legible.

Applications

§ 6: Applications must be sent to the address provided no later than 10 days before the event. Applications after this date may not be accepted. The application form must be completed in all respects; incomplete applications are invalid. A declaration by the rider for possible damage must be signed at the check-in.

Deposits

§ 7: The application must be accompanied by a deposit, which is set at 800 CZK for each participant. Deposits must be paid in cash at the check-in before the ride. After paying the deposit, each participant will receive a starting number, program, commemorative certificate, mug (for the year 2025) and plaque (for the year 2025).

Start

§ 8: The start is fixed and takes place on the last Saturday in September at 11:30 a.m. in Brno-Král. Poli, in the Kociánka Center. Riders are required to arrive at 8:45 a.m. on the same day to talk to the organizers. The time for training is between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. The order at the start, as well as the starting intervals, will be determined by the Organizing Committee and announced in a discussion with the riders.

Participants' obligations

§ 10: By signing, the participant confirms that he and his co-drivers participate in the ride at their own risk and responsibility. The participant is obliged to fully comply with the rules of the road, among other things, he declares that he holds the relevant driving license, that the vehicle is technically fully capable of operation on land roads and that valid liability insurance for damage caused by the operation of the vehicle has been arranged for the vehicle with which he will participate in the ride. The participant undertakes to behave in a sporting and honest manner, to adhere to the principles of fair play and to try to prevent and prevent any possible damage to others or himself, or to avert it, by all his behavior. The participant understands that he is solely responsible for any damage he causes to third parties through his own fault. The event organizer is not responsible in any way for the occurrence or compensation of damage that occurs due to the fault of persons other than the organizer, including damage caused by the fault of individual participants.
