One hundred years of the Czechoslovak Automobile Club for Moravia and Silesia

Czechoslovak Automobile Club for Moravia and Silesia (in cooperation with VAC Brno, the Technical Museum in Brno and Motor Journal) is organizing on Saturday, May 6, 2023 a trip of vintage cars and motorcycles through the Moravian Karst on the occasion of the centenary of its founding. Similar to what happened in 1923: „"The social and sporting activities of the ČAMS were very intense from the beginning; on May 16, 1923, a lecture on the Moravian Karst (Dr. Absolon) was held, which was followed by the first joint ride of club members to Macoch."“ (see Motor Journal 2023/02). Saturday's event will include lectures on the formation of ČAMS and the Moravian Karst. The start is at the Technical Museum in Brno. We are planning a picnic at the airport in Kotvrdovice, bring blankets and something to eat (cake, strudel, etc.). The next trip will be voluntary to Unín, where Ed Smatan will prepare traditional treats.
